EVER SINCE THE Ghostbusters remake was announced, there has been a vocal army critics eager to dismiss it at every available opportunity.
The most common argument? That it just won’t be the same as the original and that you can’t have women in the role.
You would think, however, that the new cast visiting a hospital might silence some critics.

Yesterday, the cast of the new Ghostbusters — Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones — visited Tufts Medical Centre in Boston.
Dressed head to toe in Ghostbusters attire, they took the time to pose for pictures with patients and even brought along some of their props.
It was all very sweet.

Tufts Medical Centre posted a selection of photos from the visit on Facebook yesterday and was immediately inundated with comments from trolls.
Tufts Medical Centre then stepped in and reminded people that maybe a Facebook page for a hospital isn’t the place to express your displeasure with the Ghostbusters remake.
God help us all.
